Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla to the sugar mixture, stirring until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spread half of the brownie batter in the prepared pan.
  8. Add dollops of cookie dough on top, then spread the remaining brownie batter.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
