Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork shoulder
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced

Instructions

  1. Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
  2. Add pineapple chunks, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger on top of the pork.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  4. Once cooked, shred the pork with two forks and mix with the sauce.
  5. Serve over rice or with steamed vegetables.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the pork overnight.
  • Adjust sweetness by varying the amount of brown sugar.
