  • 1 loaf challah bread
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Cut the challah bread into cubes and place it in a greased baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle the blueberries evenly over the bread cubes.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and blueberries, pressing down to ensure the bread absorbs the liquid.
  5. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  6. In the morning, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and set.
  7. Drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
