Honey Glazed Carrots & Green Beans

A simple yet flavorful side dish combining honey glazed carrots and green beans.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the carrots. Cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the green beans to the pot and cook for another 3 minutes until both vegetables are tender.
  3. Drain the vegetables and return them to the pot.
  4. Add honey, butter, salt, and pepper, and stir to coat the vegetables evenly.
  5. Cook over low heat for 2-3 minutes until warmed through and glazed.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder.
  • You can use brown sugar instead of honey for a different sweetness.
