Healthy Double Chocolate Greek Yogurt Muffins

These Healthy Double Chocolate Greek Yogurt Muffins are a delicious way to indulge your chocolate cravings without the guilt.

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let the muffins cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For added sweetness, you can substitute some of the granulated sugar with honey or maple syrup.
  • These muffins can be frozen for up to 3 months.
