Easy Cheeseburger Soup Recipe

A creamy and hearty cheeseburger soup that combines all the flavors of a classic cheeseburger in a comforting bowl.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the broth, potatoes, carrots, celery, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  5. Stir in the milk and cheese, cooking until the cheese is melted and soup is heated through.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream; season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a thicker soup, you can add a cornstarch slurry.
  • Top with additional cheese and bacon bits for extra flavor!
