Easy Cheeseburger Soup Recipe

A creamy and delicious cheeseburger soup that brings the flavors of a classic burger to your bowl, with the added goodness of turkey bacon.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble when cool.
  2. In the same pot, brown the ground turkey until no longer pink.
  3. Add onion and garlic; sauté until onion is translucent.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, then add diced potatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  6. Stir in milk and cheddar cheese until melted.
  7. Season with salt and pepper. Serve topped with crumbled turkey bacon.

Notes

  • This soup can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
  • For a creamier version, use heavy cream instead of milk.
