- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
- 3 tablespoons cold water
- In a bowl, combine coffee, sugar, and egg yolks. Place over simmering water and stir until thickened.
- Dissolve gelatin in cold water, then stir into the coffee mixture.
