Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef chuck, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

Instructions

  1. Place beef pieces and potatoes in the crockpot.
  2. Add minced garlic, beef broth, and seasonings.
  3. Dot with butter on top.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours until beef is tender.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, you can add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with water during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
