Crispy Baked Ground Turkey Tacos with Avocado Sauce

Deliciously crispy and healthy tacos made with ground turkey, topped with a creamy avocado sauce.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook ground turkey until browned.
  3. Add chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and onion powder to the turkey.
  4. Mix well and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Place corn tortillas on a baking sheet and fill with turkey mixture.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until tortillas are crispy.
  7. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
  8. Serve with avocado sauce on the side.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped cilantro to the turkey mixture.
  • Feel free to substitute ground turkey with ground beef or chicken if desired.
