  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 package Saltine crackers
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon additional ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil and arrange the Saltine crackers in a single layer.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat.
  4. Bring to a boil and let it cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and ground cinnamon.
  6. Pour the mixture over the Saltine crackers, spreading evenly.
  7. Bake for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
  8. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and let them melt, then spread evenly.
  9. In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar and additional cinnamon; sprinkle over toffee.
  10. Let it cool completely before breaking into pieces.
