  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup cookie dough (pre-made or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of brownie batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, followed by small dollops of cookie dough on top.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are set.
  9. Allow to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For added flavor, try using different types of chocolate chips.
  • Make sure not to overbake the cookies for a chewy texture.
