  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs until well combined. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  3. Bake according to package instructions until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and milk until thickened. Poke holes in the cooled cake and pour the pudding over the top.
  5. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until just simmering. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
