Air Fryer Egg and Cheese Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of whole grain bread
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 slices turkey bacon
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place turkey bacon in the air fryer and cook for 8 minutes, flipping halfway.
  4. In a small bowl, crack the egg, adding salt and pepper.
  5. Remove turkey bacon and place the bread butter-side down in the air fryer.
  6. Crack the egg onto one slice of bread, then top with bacon and cheese.
  7. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the egg is set and cheese is melty.
